I had a 2nd Dui 9 years ago and erie county gave me the penalties for a 3rd. offense. I didn’t realize that. Is that legal? I just came out of court again on Feb. 23 2016 because they said I falsified information on a form while trying to purchase a hand gun. I did not! I told my lawyer that I was going to plead not guilty and going to court. He pretty much scared me into pleading guilty and they dropped my fine down to 300.00 and no probation. I didn’t have 3,000.00 dollars he said it would cost me to go to court and he said you will be found guilty and go to prison. I was lied to. All of it! They are using B.A.C. to entrap you and take your rights away. My partner had two dui’s and he just purchased a hunting rifle. I on the other hand with two dui’s will never be aloud to own a gun. They are picking and choosing through the b.a.c. who gets rights and who does not. this to me is discrimination and entrapment to the 3rd degree. The day I went in to court they had four other cases like mine. unbelievable!! They rushed me around so fast I didn’t know if I was coming or going. Something is very wrong..
