Lawyers on the Fast Track Awards Dinner

Every year The Legal Intelligencer selects Lawyers on the Fast Track, an award recognizing young lawyers from all across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania who have emerged as leaders.  This past week an awards dinner was held honoring the winners. This year Attorney Justin McShane was selected as a recipient for this prestigious award.

trainAt the event, The Legal Intelligencer’s editor-in-chief Hank Grezlak explained the importance of the award and the competitive criteria used to select the winners.  One of the many noteworthy things he mentioned that is worth repeating here is that despite all of the negative media out there about the struggles of young lawyers trying to establish their careers, the recipients of this award show that with hard work and innovative ideas leaders are still emerging.

This idea is at the heart of what we do at The McShane Firm. We have gone to long lengths to specialize in using forensic science to defend the citizens of Pennsylvania. We attend thousands of hours of scientific training, lecture at dozens of seminars, write for scientific publications and even host advanced courses. We are The Science Attorneys.

This is what I personally encourage young lawyers to do when they are starting out.  No matter if you practice corporate law, estate law or family law, strive to be the very best and make continual education your top priority.  Your specialized knowledge is what should set you apart from your peers.

Commit yourself to excellence; success lies ahead.
